Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing to you to correct an error on my tuition bill.

My total bill for the Spring 1998 semester is: $2,347.53. My financial aid award covers $2,000 of the total amount, not $1,000 as stated in the January 16 bill (copy enclosed).

I spoke with David Smith in Financial aid (extension 6-2886), and he confirmed that my financial aid award has not changed (see enclosed copy of my financial aid award letter).

Please correct my billing record, and call me at (303)111-1111 if you have any questions. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

John Doe
