The links below take you to other resources for writers on the web.

The OWL team believes these sites are interesting, helpful, and easy to use. The green flag sites are the ones we found to be the easiest to use and the most helpful if you need basic information about writing and English.

		CCD Writing Handouts Quick, straight-up lessons on the stuff you never paid attention to in high school, like using commas and semicolons or putting one of those apostrophe things before or after the "s"; lots of good info, but incomplete in places (a work in progress).
		Paper Bank The Paper Bank offers sample papers and paragraphs written by undergraduate college students, ranging in experience from beginning native and ESL speakers to senior-level students. Along with the sample student papers and paragraphs are comments written by Community College of Denver Writing Center tutors.
		Sample Letters This is the OWL Personal Business Letters section. Scroll through the selections to find a letter like the one you need to write. Once you find your letter, we suggest that you print a copy of the model letter and then make the necessary changes so that the content and format fits your specific situation.
		Darling's Guide to Grammar Go here! This site's got it all--from basic grammar and punctuation to paragraph, essay, and research paper help. Nice graphics, very user-friendly. You can even send specific questions to "Ask Grammar" and get a reply in one or two days. Now that's service!
		Business Links All kinds of links to help with business writing.
		Jack Lynch's Online Grammar Guide Lots of info, but not very easy to use. A bit slow, too. Try it if you come up short at Darling's.
		Online Writing Resources Resource for APA, MLA, Chicago styles of research citation. Includes link to Purdue OWL and writing samples.
		A+ Research Writing for High School and College Students Part of the Internet Public Library, this site covers everything you need to know to write a research paper. It is easy to read and understand.
		A Writer's Reference This is the companion website for the reference book used in many CCD composition courses. Get help with reseach and citing sources.
		Dave's ESL Cafe Chat with ESL students from all over the world. Enjoy interesting ways to improve your English while learning about culture, slang and idioms. Leave a note on the graffiti wall.
		Technical Writing Link to sites for teachers of technical writing.
