Dawn Spelke

My name is Dawn Spelke and I graduated with honors from UCD in May, 1997, with a Bachelors in English/Writing. I am currently a Grad Student at UCD, majoring in the Teaching of Writing. For the last 3-1/2 years I have tutored at the CCD Writing Center and have been on-line tutoring since the fall of 1997.

I really enjoy working with the diverse population at CCD. I know what it's like to have to go back to school as an older adult, juggling life responsibilities as well as school work. Writing, for me, is a path to freedom. I have seen how being able to write well has opened doors for me and for others. It is exciting to be a part of that process.
